Answer for the DAy :::

The Answer I was looking for is the Trend of " Raksha Bandhan " or of Sending the " Rakhi " .
I am not sure when exactly this concept started but I am aware of two incidents that supposedly started this ::
Rani Karnavati and Humayun ::
When Queen Karnavati ( Widow of King of Chittor ) realized she could not fight the invasion of ( Bahadur Shah of Mewar )
she sent a Rakhi to Humayun . Humayun touched by this gesture came with his vast troops to help his " SISTER "

Alexander' wife and Puru ::
When Alexander the Great invaded India. He was shaken by the Might of Puru Kingdom.
Alexander's wife then send a Rakhi to Puru . Puru accepted her as his sister and when Time came he refrained from fighting Alexander.
