The answer I was looking for is
Dr Amartya Sen ( Nobel laureate )
Obviously the book is " The Argumentative Indian "

The book is basically a collection of essays about India. And talks a lot about our culture and traditions.
I will definitely recommend reading this book.
However this a very heavy type ( In terms of contents ) book and cannot be finished in one go.
